OMEGA OM20-1001T 2P AC Surge Protection Device (SPD) is designed to protect single-phase electrical installations and connected equipment against transient overvoltages caused by lightning-induced surges and electrical switching disturbances. The device features a two-pole configuration with Line (L) and Neutral (N) connections, making it suitable for compatible single-phase AC electrical distribution systems. With a maximum discharge current (Imax) of 100kA, nominal discharge current (In) of 20kA and maximum continuous operating voltage (Uc) of 320V AC, the device provides surge protection for compatible AC electrical installations. The SPD features a voltage protection level (Up) of 1.2kV or lower, helping limit transient overvoltages reaching connected electrical equipment. Its Type 2 (T2) surge protection classification makes it suitable for distribution-board surge protection against induced lightning and switching transients. The device features replaceable surge protection cartridges with visual status indicators. The green indicator shows normal operating status, while a red indication identifies a module requiring replacement. Its compact modular construction supports installation inside compatible electrical distribution boards and control panels. The OMEGA 2P AC SPD is suitable for residential, commercial, solar inverter AC distribution and other compatible single-phase electrical systems. For effective protection, the SPD must be installed with suitable protective earthing, correctly coordinated upstream protection and wiring according to the manufacturer's installation requirements.
